  Paint the Future Bright for a Child with Clubfoot!

  Come out to Lisa Horst's home on 772 Barr Blvd., Lancaster for our June Mini Mixer with Amy Henriques with Hope Walks. 

  5:00-8:00 p.m. 

  Decorate a brace for a child at a Hope Walks Clinic 

  A $15.00 donation is suggested for the decorating of the brace to be donated to Hope Walks. 

  Light appetizers will be provided.

  Aloha in Your Own Life! 

  Aloha! Most of us might think that Aloha means Hello and Goodbye.. but actually there is SO MUCH more to Aloha than we know.

  After Dawn Tluczek visited all the islands in Hawaii for a few weeks, she learned that Aloha, is a way of living to Hawaiians. It is their culture. It is a way of life. And it is a way to live that gives you significant peace in your soul. She is excited to share with you how you can live Aloha in your own life!

  Dawn works for Bethany Christian Services and has significant experience within the non-profit, sports, for-profit, medical and self-employment fields. She is married to Darryl and lives in the Hempfield area. Dawn has been a member of the ABWA LAEN chapter for 5 years, and has served in various areas of our Board of Directors. She is also the President-Elect and looking forward to sharing her Aloha with her ABWA sisters.

  "Now is the Time to Make Your Passion Your Purpose"

  Please join us at our July ABWA Monthly Membership Meeting to hear from our speaker, Karen E Snyder, SPHR, SHRM-SCP, Owner and Senior HR Consultant of Bloom Consultants, LLC. 

  Everyone has a story, and often we spend most of our time looking forward to where we want to go and forget to check in to where we’ve been. In this session, we will look at the significant moments and people that made us who we are, and in doing so, identify when we were doing what we really loved and discovering our passion along the way. If we know our passion, we can shape our purpose to ensure that everything we do will allow us to fuel that passion and truly live our purpose.

  Karen has spent her career in Human Resources and is well versed in leadership development and organizational design. She has been described as genuine and authentic, and takes pride in helping others find solutions to their most difficult challenges. Karen is currently the Founder and Senior HR Consultant with Bloom Consultants. She has worked in a wide array of industries including defense. manufacturing, entertainment, and education. She has both international and domestic experience and has expertise in all facets of HR.

  Karen has spent many years developing her skills to integrate HR into the business in order to be a true business partner and agent of change. Karen has worked with all levels of the organization and has designed and developed very effective leaders and leadership teams. She has developed and presented leadership trainings in several countries and integrated three businesses globally. Karen has spent several years in Talent Management and is experienced in selection and development assessments, team building programs, and organizational and individual succession and development strategies.  As an advocate of advancing women, her true passion is in coaching individuals through various stages of their careers and empowering them to find their strengths and true-life purpose. 

  When not conjuring up her next adventure, Karen serves on the Board and PDC committee for LSHRM, is on the HR Advisory Board for the Lancaster Chamber, the President’s Advisory Board for Thaddeus Stevens School of Technology, and is a certified yoga instructor.
